Get to Know Dr. Joscelyn
Dr. Joscelyn Ramos Campbell is a prominent award-winning national spokesperson known for her marketing expertise and advocacy work for people with disabilities. She is the founder of Hope Torchlighters, a nonprofit organization that helps to provide stability wellness, advocacy, and empowerment to special needs and neurodiverse families.
A former federal government public relations executive under the Bush and Obama administrations, her outstanding marketing efforts were key in the rapid growth of federal hiring for government agencies, including the U.S. Dept. of Transportation and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. She was awarded the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Selfless Service Award. She is the 2nd recipient to have received such an honor. The 1st recipient was Sarah Obama, the grandmother of former President Obama.
Recently, she was honored with the Outstanding Leadership Award for her extraordinary achievements in the marketing field at the Summer Edition of the Marketing 2.0 Conference, held at the Caesars Forum, Las Vegas.
Born in Brooklyn, New York to Cuban and Puerto Rican parents, Joscelyn is bilingual and bicultural. She is raising a multicultural and multigenerational family, alongside her military veteran spouse of Irish American descent. Together, they have four wonderful boys; an adult son, identical twins in high school; the youngest is in elementary school and has Autism. With a Legal Studies educational background and a degree in Pre-Law, Joscelyn has received several national awards in communications, public relations, and social media.
Additionally, after 20+ years of achievement in a career spanning the fields of the federal & local government, multimedia, and humanitarian rights, Joscelyn was bestowed a working honorary degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Humanities.
Her award-winning parenting and lifestyle website, Mami of Multiples, is a testament to her dedication to promoting inclusivity and diversity. Joscelyn has been featured on numerous television and media outlets including CBS, NBC, NBC Latino, FOX, Univision, Telemundo, Huffington Post, and CNBC to name a few. She was named a Top 10 Inspiring Latina Mom Blogger to Follow and is considered one of the influential Hispanic-American bloggers and digital icons.

In 2022 and 2023, she was elected to be the Chairwoman of the City Parks and Recreation Advisory Board.
Under the leadership of Sr. Pastors, Dr. Tony McCoy and Jodie McCoy, Joscelyn has become an ordained Pastor overseeing the Special Needs Ministry and is a Nathaniel’s Hope Buddy Break Respite Care Director. (Dr. Tony McCoy is a former Florida Gator and retired NFL Player for the Indianapolis Colts and Arizona Cardinals). In addition, Joscelyn is leading a disability ministry while having an active disability. She is certified in theology and disability ministry via The Christian Institute on Disability.
