Key Ministry continued their new series on the need for Cultural Competence in Mental Health ministry. The second webinar in Key Ministry’s series focuses on the example set by a large, ethnically diverse church in Florida. As a Special Needs Pastor and Director of Communications, I was pleased to represent Hope International Church and share their established work within the community to provide mental health support and resources. Discussions included how Hope International has addressed mental health needs in a faith community that is a balanced blend of Hispanic, Black and White church members, and what other churches can learn from their model.
